Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is a sport that anyone can do and regulars can enjoy maximum benefit from all that Leysin has to offer in this domain. A variety of specially conceived trails that cut through fields and forests are especially pleasant for Nordic Walking.

The routes on offer in Leysin vary in difficulty and as such attract a large chunk of the walking fraternity. Setting off from the ice rink in the lower village, the 3 trails are distinguished mainly by their different lengths (4,8km, 8,1km and 15,4km). Something then for everyone to enjoy. Information signs along the way give helpful tips on walking techniques.

The trails are mainly used in summer but can also be used throughout the winter season. It may be less renowned but walking on snow can be equally rewarding, offering a wonderful escape from the daily grind.

Experienced instructors offer their services all year round to those wishing to learn the right moves and to hone their technique.
